While it is great to have Premium Plans (previously Project for the Web) in My Tasks in Teams, I have found it too cumbersome to use due to the lack of integration (instead, we use PowerBI to generate task lists). For example, I can't view custom columns in My Tasks and I can't edit Buckets, dates, assignment, etc. from the My Tasks page. I still have to navigate to the Premium Plan to edit a task. When will this critical integration be available?

When will we be able to save views (group by, filters, etc) or at least changing the default view? It wastes a lot of time doing it over and over...

Are there plans to maintain the underlying Project Service Core app solution history for model-driven application extensibility? When Project for the Web (also known as the new Planner) is extended using the PexWebControl, it becomes difficult to anticipate or support these changes. It seems that any detailed release plans are currently limited to Dynamics 365 Proj Ops solutions.

Please provide any available update on the following: - Plan/Task from other environments shows on P4W but not on Teams - Loop "Plans" show on Planner Web App but on Teams we can only see the Tasks assigned to ourselves - Can we please turn off the ping sound when we finish the task? - Needing a group connected to the plan to share tasks with other people is very inconvenient, how come Loop manages without it?

Will there be functionality to extend the number of checklist items past 20?
  • When will new planner be supported in non-default environments?
    • Deleted - Thanks for bringing this up! Ability to open plans from non-default environments in Planner Teams app is in our backlog and expressing your interest in this helps us prioritize it.

When will we get more information on what will be included for Roadmap Feature ID 187140 (Portfolio capabilities in Planner)? It would be good to know what the current planned features are so that companies can know whether it's worth keeping interim solutions until the Release/Rollout or whether they should find an alternative portfolio management tool.

Absolutely. Right now Planner is very limited as an enterprise solution. Every plan/project is in its own silo and one can't manage resources, tasks or projects outside of a small team. The following features are critical before we can deploy across our organization:

        • Resource management across multiple projects. As a minimum it should be possible to view the Assignments and Charts tabs across a whole group, not just a single plan. Similar for People and Goals tabs would also be useful.
        • Task dependencies between different projects
        • Task requests into a project, allowing outside the project team to make a request that the Project  Manager needs to accept
        • Allowing a task to be in more than one project (could be similar to the above)

Other items that would be helpful:

        • "Sticky" views, with the current state of filters, group by, zoom, date range etc retained between sessions
        • Bulk update of tasks
        • Moving tasks between projects
        • Keeping effort constant when duration of a task is changed
        • Allowing top-level tasks to connect to Goals

Will finally the person assigned to a task receive a notification when a comment is made - or will the notification still only be sent to the one writing the comment?
