- Joshua_ZelvyIron ContributorMost screens in M365 Admin center that list users, or groups have the ability to export to CSV right from the admin page. Why was this feature not included for the OneDrive Sync App Health. This would appear to be an easy add and not required significant processing power.
- JadeB1000Brass ContributorFeedback on this event: the YouTube experience is not good. Periodically the comments / page refreshes result in the video getting paused. There are no captions or live links to follow. It's not easy to engage or keep up on both the chat and the video.

- DavidWandererIron ContributorI realize that we can run a sharing report for each onedrive account but as an admin, we often need to do this in bulk. Not only does this include anyone links but specific people. Example: we had a breakup with a strategic partner and people often shared files with users at the partner company. We want to break all of those links. The audit log is not good enough because some of the sharing links happened more than a year ago. What is the best way to get a sharing report either tenant wide or with a subset of users?

I recommend checking out the permissions datasets in Microsoft Graph Data Connect. It'll get you the full list of permission across your environment and let you process/filter as needed. Jose Barreto has an awesome blog on how to do this!- DavidWandererIron ContributorThank you. Any chance you have that link? It doesn't seem like a "one off" request to me but I could be wrong. It would be great to have something easier that could help with incidents and governance request from users. But if the data is exposed and the MG Data Connect is the only way, I'll look into it. Thank you.
- Maurice_VoldBrass ContributorQ - Is there changes coming to the Shortcuts so we can easily see what libraries and sites those point to? I have users that have no idea they have created shortcuts or what sites and libraries they point to. And yes I tell them the little symbol on the folder means it is a shortcut but they want something better than that. Thanks.
- gacarini
Microsoft
Where are users interacting with shortcuts (File Explorer, Web, etc.)? We have some improvements planned to improve discoverability and education related to shortcuts. Stay tuned for more on this at a future session as we finalize our plans.
- steveqlaneBrass ContributorQ - I'll ask my usual question. It would be GREAT if OneDrive/SharePoint didn't have issues with invalid characters. I hear from mostly Mac customers that if the OS allows the character in a file name then OneDrive and SharePoint should as well. This would help me and I assume others playing whack-a-mole to help folks know they have invalid characters to fix and fix them.
and the first step should be to read the following Microsoft support page

Microsoft
We are working on some improvements related to invalid characters. I'd love to connect with you more on this topic. In the meantime, do you know if there are certain apps that are creating these characters on your users' Macs? When users fix the characters, does that cause any issues? Do you have a sense of which characters are most common? From our telemetry, trailing spaces is the most common so we are starting with a change to automatically remove trailing spaces but more to come here.

- Joshua_ZelvyIron ContributorNow that OneDrive's of users who leave a company are only available for 90 days, can you provide an update on the new tools and features to help managers review and move files within the time frame. Google for example moves a Google Drive automatically to the manager.
- LincolnDeMaris
Microsoft
This is a critical scenario that we are taking a look at. We are working on some improvements here - including better calls to action for managers when there's an employee OneDrive that's being offboarded soon, and better tools to filter that content and move content in bulk to the right place. - arwazt
Microsoft
Hi Joshua, we absolutely hear you about this being a difficult pain point. This is something we are actively working on but don't have details or timelines we can share yet. One question for you, do you have thoughts on the path you mention to automatically mount the previous employee's drive to the Managers OneDrive - is that a solution you think would work for you?
- IvanWilsonIron ContributorThere has been mention of increasing the number of files across synced libraries from 300,000 items. Any update on this?
- gacarini
Microsoft
We have made significant progress in architecture changes to support syncing > 300k files. Those changes are all rolled out in the Production ring so we'd love to know how that's working for you. We have some additional changes we are investing in before we officially change the documentation. Anyways if you are having issues with syncing > 300k files, we would love to learn more so we can investigate.- IvanWilsonIron ContributorWe have been advising clients to avoid syncing too much content. Will see if we can experiment with larger syncs.
- NadineKBrass ContributorWe can see the new OneDrive web app in targeted release - however it's missing the storage information on the home page. You also end up in the old experience if you access OneDrive from the waffle, and the new experience from the siderail - very confusing. We've tried engaging with support but we're not making any progress. Will the storage consumption info be added to the new OneDrive Web app?
- LincolnDeMaris
Microsoft
Getting the old experience when opening OneDrive from suite nav is extremely surprising. The new OneDrive web app has been rolled out for about a year now - so there's something else going on. I'll follow up with engineering to see if there's anything we can do. If you can connect with my on Teams and share support ticket information, that would be helpful.

Microsoft
Hi Nadine - I just want to confirm that you're referring to accessing OneDrive from Microsoft365.com? I don't have an ETA to share on when you'll be able to see OneDrive storage usage within Microsoft365.com but this is great feedback that I'll take back to the team. Thanks!- NadineKBrass ContributorYes - OneDrive on Microsoft365.com. The storage information was added to the old app last November (https://support.microsoft.com/en-gb/office/manage-your-onedrive-for-work-or-school-storage-31519161-059c-4764-b6f8-f5cd29f7fe68), largely due to the EDU program changes. And the app is the 'new' 'new' one https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/introducing-the-new-onedrive-app-for-microsoft-365-web-and-microsoft-365-windows-b63dc035-c2fb-4912-9bd2-102968981c82 "The OneDrive app will roll out to both Microsoft 365 web and Windows starting July 2024."
