- I have been talking to the Dyn365 people and I am not sure I like the idea that Dyn365 data will not added to MS Search but will use federated search. That will make Dyn365 data a second class citizen 😞

Can you share what Microsoft Search features or functionality you would expect for Dyn365 data?- sure, just a simple scenario: Each customer has a Teams team and we would like to show active projects and leads with that customer, perhaps using the PnP Modern search web parts. Or just getting a link to that customer in Dyn365 when doing a free text search in office.com
- Will there be some sort of unique UI design through the MS Search landscape? Currently not all results are shown in the same way across the apps that use MS Search, so the adaptive cards or result templates should be more aligned.
Ajla_BadzaWe are constantly working on aligning the design of search results in different canvases, but we also try to respect the design rules and patterns of the host app/canvas, so there still might be some differences depending on the host app where result appears.- Kathrine HammervoldCan you give some specific examples of where they are different? There will be some CSS styling that is different, but for the Microsoft Search pages they should look and feel the same, as they are being read from the same configuration.
For example if you look at the files in Edge tab, Office.com or SharePoint files, the display template is different on all locations.
- We have been anxiously waiting for the additional search features like search usage analytics and acronyms answers in GCC. Just yesterday (7/26/2022) the road map stated it was rolling out July 2022 it now has a new date of August 2022 any insights on the reason for the delay?
- We wound up creating a Glossary for our GCC tenant using the PnP web parts. Easier to use and allows for greater participation (more glossary sources), targeted results and filtering. Gave up on the Acronyms due to availability and control.
- Ajla_BadzaWe have found minor issues in lower rings/environments while working on the rollout and had to move the start of the rollout for August. We are currently not aware of any further delays for the rollout.
- Is it possible to get a more detailed overview of improvements that will be rolled out? We see of course the bigger ones from the roadmap, but stuff like a function to adjust schemas from certain connectors is also report worthy in my opinion and helps us prepare

Thanks for the suggestion, we're currently working on revisions to our existing roadmap process that will introduce more clarity and conciseness to the working set of features we regularly publish to and update on roadmap.office.com. You should start seeing improvements over the next several weeks as we implement this new process.

- Search Verticals Setup Horizontal vs Vertical Bing and MS Search are different in the way they look. In Bing the search verticals are shown in the "left nav" but in the MS Search they are shown as "Top Nav" Is there a plan to provide an option for MS Search also to change the search verticals setup as "left Nav"
- Ajla_BadzaWe are currently discussing to update the Bing experience and show the verticals menu at the TOP, but unfortunately, we are still not considering the left nav in MSO/SharePoint.

- Side note. GCC clients cannot participate in the link above.
- Will there be any page configurations in the future, for example the vertical section and left navigation to give more links to other custom result pages and other search related information? Now it is only one vertical section/column. Would be nice to have multiple columns where you can show results.
- Ajla_BadzaWe are exploring ways to give admins and end users ability to customize the way SERP is presenting data, such as information density, or showing multiple blocks of information, but these are long term efforts that might not be available soon.
- When is there an improvement planned for the current analytics? They are somewhat valuable now but do require improvement on analytics throughout the entire ecosystem. Also extracting data gives you a very narrow dataset to work with this could be improved, like quick improvements with something as simple as datestamp and Searched from office.com/bing/SP
- We are actively expanding analytics and insight support and have many long-term and short-term goals. We expect to release feature updates by the end of the year. Customers involved with Microsoft's Lighthouse Program for Microsoft Search will get early access to analytics and insight features.

- Brian Jackett, Is there at least a timeline on when all the properties are manageable from the API? Love to use this in a Power App e.g. Able to create bookmarks but missing certain properties making it rather useless atm.
- What is roadmap in increasing findability of business information, while the information owner does not want to spend effort in complying to Search Engine Optimization (SEO) ?
- Monitoring for the Search Admin Center - Can we have monitoring enabled for the Search Admin Portal UI (Mainly for data sources). This will help the IT Admins to know if any connector is broken and take immediate action
