- RodLauderCopper ContributorWe are already fully licensed for Intune but have been told that MAM Tunnel is going to be an additional cost. Why isn't it part of the core product?

Microsoft
Tunnel for MAM supports unenrolled devices as an advanced endpoint management feature and is included in our new Intune Plan 2 and Intune Suite license packages.
- -_RH_-Iron ContributorHello! Dilip mentioned that customers want to consolidate tools, reduce complexity, etc. Does that include the multiple Microsoft tools as well, in other words, will we be able to consolidate Config Mgr functionality so that we need only Intune?
- Joe_Lurie
Microsoft
-_RH_- You can already use Intune for managing Windows devices. But the way you do it might be slightly different: Windows Autopilot instead of OSD; Windows Update for Business instead of WSUS. Is there something specific you aren't able to do in Intune that you're able to do in ConfigMgr?
- -_RH_-Iron Contributor
Joe_Lurie Managing servers is a huge one. Conditional access cannot be applied to on-prem servers except by IP, which is also a problem. There is quite a bit more control with Task Sequences in Config Mgr. Another issue is that Intune for whatever reason doesn't allow app install precedence for Microsoft Office.
- alenatCopper Contributoraccess to the video is restricted?
