- ShahAakashCopper ContributorIn an on-prem environment, files/scripts could be stored in Netlogon - where is the recommended place to store files or scripts needed by an endpoint for systems in Entra/Intune?
- Joe_Lurie
Microsoft
ShahAakash In a cloud-native environment, you don't store the scripts on a server or deploy them to the endpoint. You send scripts from Intune to be run on the client, like you would an app installer or a policy.
- ShahAakashCopper ContributorSometimes there are configuration files that need to be placed locally on an endpoint - how would you go about doing this?
- MaenXeBrass ContributorPlease tell me there are more reports coming to the baseline Intune license level of Endpoint Analytics. Of the only three current reports Application Reliability, Startup Performance, and Work from Anywhere, the Application Reliability is the most useful. I find Work from Anywhere completely useless as it is not clear what the score even means, or why I should care. Literally every workstation in my environment has the same high score, but no guidance to how to improve or what is impacting the score. I'd like to see more specific feedback on the Startup Performance, allowing us to drill down to find out specific timestamps for startup items within a reboot instance.

I wanted to inform you that more reports are in the pipeline for Endpoint Analytics. Additionally, I highly recommend attending the upcoming AMA session that will cover Endpoint Analytics and Enterprise Application Management. It could provide valuable insights and updates that may be beneficial for your understanding and utilization of these tools.

- Badger-ScottCopper ContributorAny future way of applying a policy and assigning a weight for what takes preference?
- Joe_Lurie
Microsoft
Badger-Scott We can't really answer "future-state" or roadmap questions here. But we are working on a lot of new, cool stuff in Intune. Keep an eye on the https://aka.ms/M365Roadmap page and the https://aka.ms/IntuneInDev page for when we start to announce the new features.
- NoNotMeIron ContributorI've been searching high and low to find out when/if Intune Remote Help will ever allow for unattended remote access to an Intune device, specifically Windows devices. This is a very important feature that's currently missing, so I'd be interested to learn what other users have deployed.
- jhguthrieCopper ContributorWhen will we be able to create Groups based on detecting registery keys or files on the device?
- Joe_Lurie
Microsoft
jhguthrie Zineb talked about Device Query and some of the features it can do today and what we are working on in the future. This was during the Enterprise App Management and Advanced Analytics AMA right after this one. Here's a link for you AMA: Enterprise App Management, Advanced Analytics in Intune Suite - Microsoft Community Hub
- Dano: How happy are you with the EPM Support Approved feature... that is currently rolling out on a scale 1 to 10... Also how do you think this could increase/boost the adoption of EPM.
- JericoQOccasional ReaderWe have an issue with our windows 365 cloud pcs. Occasionally they fall out out of compliance and a reboot and login fixes the issue. Is there a way to prevent the machine from falling out of compliance?
- Tyler Castaldo
Microsoft
Hi, @Jerico Querubin. Which specific policy settings are causing the device to fall out of compliance?- JericoQOccasional ReaderHi Tyler Castaldo. So usually it fails compliance checks on Code Integrity and Secure Boot. A reboot would usually fix it.
- DistortionBrass ContributorWhen will the Windows 11 Security Baseline be released? We've put off making some configuration changes with expectation it would be available early 2024. Should we just go ahead and configure the recommendations ourselves rather than wait for the MS Template to be available in Intune?
- KevinMineweaser_MSFT
Microsoft
Hi Chris.
The latest information on using the security baselines to configure Windows 11 devices in Intune can be found here: Learn about Windows security baselines you can deploy with Microsoft Intune | Microsoft Learn
I suspect that you are looking for the security baseline updates for the latest releases of Windows 11. We are working to accelerate the publishing of the updates as soon as possible. When they are available the link above will be updated.
Thank you for the question.

- tpeckmanCopper ContributorWhen will the Intune Suite go GA for GCC? What is the feature parity to the worldwide release?
- Joe_Lurie
Microsoft
tpeckman It's coming! Keep an eye on https://aka.ms/M365Roadmap and https://aka.ms/IntuneInDev.
- Dallas_Allen705Copper ContributorHelp with universal Print. We have implemented this here at our college. However there are times when the universal printque will show jobs waiting to print but will not release until we unplug the Copier/Printer from power and then plug it back in. What might cause this problem?
