- HHello from Tucson, AZ,
- alliethompsonIron ContributorHi Hal! Hope you are well 🙂

Welcome Hal! - Sarah_GilbertSilver ContributorHello Hal!
- adamdeichBrass ContributorCan we expose data hosted in third party storage such as Egnyte or ITGlue to CoPilot. Many of our internal sources of documentation live outside of SharePoint and we'd like CoPilot responses to include some of these data sources. Are there connectors that will allow for this?
- sebastienlevert
Microsoft
Absolutely! Using Graph Connectors would provide semantic indexing of your external SaaS / LOB data directly in Microsoft 365 and will participate in the Copilot experience. Have a look here! https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365-copilot/extensibility/overview-graph-connector
Using API plugins is also another option for real-time access to that data. API plugins for Microsoft 365 Copilot | Microsoft Learn

Copilot Agents can use API Plugins to call external data sources https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365-copilot/extensibility/overview-api-plugins
- katemacartneyCopper ContributorHow do I enable pages for copilot? My admin center states that it is now enabled, yet when going to https://www.microsoft365.com/chat/, I cannot find pages.
- KevinSherman
Microsoft
Pages is rolling out starting this week, beginning with the Work tab in Business Chat (i.e. the link you provided above). If you don't see it yet you will see it in the coming weeks. You'll know when you an "Edit in Pages" button below a prompt response.- katemacartneyCopper Contributorok, thanks Kevin! And just to clarify, Pages is for all Copilot licenses? Not just enterprise?
- SWARUP-SelvarajCopper Contributor
Is there any development in Copilot for Retrieval Augumented Generation based on documents available in a Sharepoint Library?
- KevinSherman
Microsoft
Can you please clarify your question? For Microsoft 365 Copilot users, Business Chat gives them the opportunity to ground prompts in files/docs stored in SharePoint. - sebastienlevert

Declarative agents will automatically do RAG on SharePoint documents when specified as knowledge sources.- jrwarwickBrass ContributorWhat is meant by "specified as knowledge sources"? Does that mean using the attachment feature in the chat input box? Or mentioning the document by name? Or is there some kind of special tagging I should be doing to make documents recognized as "knowledge sources"?
- adamdeichBrass ContributorIf we create CoPilot agents for sharepoint pages, do all our users need to have a CoPilot license to use them?
- jolenetam
Microsoft
We are finalizing licensing details for Copilot agents in SharePoint, and will share that information soon.
- Chris_GrecoBrass Contributor
Since Copilot pages are stored in SharePoint embedded container and we can't, as admins, change owners for a separated user's workspace, the data is at risk of being orphaned. When will the reassign owner/promote member to owner feature for the containers be available?
- dancontoso
Microsoft
Thanks, Chris, for your question. We designed user-owned content to be private by default, allowing users to assemble and reason over their Copilot responses without forced sharing or coauthoring, similar to OneDrive.
User-owned content/containers cannot be permanently reassigned to a new owner. Like OneDrive, these containers are managed with the user account and follow the same cleanup schedule: 30 days active, then soft deleted, and permanently purged 93 days after soft deletion. Admins can recover content during the soft delete period using the SharePoint Admin Center or PowerShell.
We are working on a feature for IT admins to assign additional temporary custodians during the cleanup period. These temporary custodians, like OneDrive workflows, will be able to copy data to a more permanent location, like a shared workspace, if needed. The date for this feature will be communicated via the M365 Public Roadmap. Look for something like 'departed user content workflows for user-owned containers.'
- johnsonteyBrass ContributorFollowing!
- CarnegieJ-IAYFIron ContributorWhat are the MSL learning pathways for Python in Excel: Advanced data analysis?
- DavidM
Microsoft
LinkedIn Learning - Excel with Copilot: AI-Driven Data Analysis is already available. It covers Python in the Copilot in Excel with Python section.
- BalajiedCopper ContributorCan Copilot in PowerPoint group similar slides and give us recommendations based on those groups?
- aschilbach
Microsoft
Yes! Just open up the Copilot chat pane in PowerPoint and ask Copilot to "Organize this presentation" and it will automatically organize your presentation. Here's the support page: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/organize-this-presentation-with-copilot-in-powerpoint-a207eea3-7a56-4225-88f1-54dd37cdcf6a

Regarding blocking of public/consumer Copilot access within our Enterprise Network...
Early this year, we orchestrated several network-level changes to ensure no one in our org has access to public/consumer Copilot experiences. Up through last month, MS was continuing to update several documented blocking options (such as an HTTP header injection, redirects to nochat.bing.com & cdp.copilot.microsoft.com, etc..), which we have been using.
All of those options were documented at the following link, and now they are all gone:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/copilot/manage#require-commercial-data-protection-in-
Will MS not continue providing specific details on blocking access to public/consumer Copilot / Bing Chat? If they do not, our network team will need to figure out novel ways of blocking which may pose a threat to our legitimate use of MS Enterprise Copilot tools.(And please don't suggest that we start using MS solutions exclusively for all our Internet Proxy, Purview AI-Hub, MS DLP, etc... Its not going to happen for our org.)
- AaronCouchIron Contributor
Sarah_Gilbert will someone at Microsoft be able to provide a response to this please?
- rajraw75Copper ContributorHow can I use Copilot to find all the emails where I need to action things?
- annetoalBrass ContributorType into the Copilot for M365 prompt: "find all emails where I need to action something."
- Gabriel_ValdezBronze Contributor"All the emails" might be a bit too broad but you can use the Copilot chat function in Outlook or Business Chat to ask Copilot "Do I have any action items from my emails in the last 2 days?"
- DarinSpenceCopper ContributorSorry, something went wrong. Please try again, and if the issue persists, please click the thumbs down button to share your experience and help us improve
- BalajiedCopper ContributorMaybe use the Copilot work tab? there you can ask Copilot to summarize all emails that needs your attention?
