Will there be pilot / Proof of Concept options available outside of the Early Access Program? This is a significant cost increase per user and we would need to ensure that we see value in the tool. Since the tool should be getting "Smarter" over time, there seems to be benefit in waiting to get copilot rather to rushing to use it and help it work out the kinks.

Aug 10, 2023Currently only EAP is available. Copilot learns from organization's data through Microsoft Graph. So, the longer it is used in the company, the better results it gives, the model is not trained on any customer data.
- sconsidineAug 10, 2023Brass ContributorBut updates / fixes made to the model to improve the efficiency of it will be released and available to all employees. Why not get the model when it is smarter / more efficient, rather than pay for something that still needs improvements up front? The challenge here is value...Would love to see a value calculator or ROI tool to present to leadership
- Someone449Aug 10, 2023Brass ContributorYou're not wrong. I was told EAP had a cost of $500 per year per user, but if I wait for general availability when all features are present and it's bug-free it's only $360 per user per year. On top of that, I was told that EAP has a minimum buy-in of $100,000. None of that computes. Not to be snarky, but I believe they're just taking advantage of the AI hype. Some people will actually pay a premium for beta access.
