Can companies with legacy O365 E5 - rather than M365 E5 - also leverage BCE without added cost? If yes, can they participate in the preview as well?
As of today, I've enabled BCE at tenant level but O365 E5 users do NOT get BCE.

For customers with O365 skus, we’ve announced that a standalone BCE offering will be coming in the future for purchase for individual users. We also encourage you to learn more about M365 subscriptions which include additional features and benefits, including BCE.
- Paul KieperAug 10, 2023Copper ContributorCan you address how customers with "original" M365 E3 SKUs (which show up as separate Office 365, Enterprise Mobility + Security, and Windows licenses, instead of a unified "Microsoft 365 E3" license in the tenant) will be able to enable BCE for users? We've already completed the BCE opt-in procedure to enable at the tenant level.
- Henrique_BronovskiAug 10, 2023Former EmployeeHi Paul, we are aware of this issue, and we are currently testing a short-term solution. We have implemented a temporary workaround this week, where IT admins can assign the M365 E3/E5 Extra Feature SKU to the original SKU users who have this problem. It can take up to 48 hours for BCE to start reflecting on the user’s page after this extra feature SKU is assigned.
