Good morning, folks! Welcome to our AMA.
Here is our published Roadmap of what's coming up for Copilot in Outlook: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?rtc=1&filters=Outlook&searchterms=copilot - DeletedWhat I would love to have: let copilot cluster emails, appointments, chat messages, contacts around projects or areas of interest E.g. i could ask Copilot for documents, chat history, emails, appointments and it could be stored somewhere in Teams and/or Outlook, so I can later interact with the search result or let copilot inform me when new data/information is available.

Excellent thought Tobias! I was thinking of the same. Copilot would not react AFTER a prompt, but the prompt would be perpetually stored and periodically executed to sort and/or tag email. More like a rule works, it would add a layer of sorting and filtering to structure email content upfront. This would greatly facilitate project related exchanges. Today I use copy/pastes of a whole set of pre-written prompts in Outlook to keep overview of the many projects that we have to manage simultaneously in our construction company
- Renu DeviBrass ContributorThat's an interesting set of scenarios. Today, you can search for all these in Outlook using the Search bar or use Copilot Chat in Outlook to do the same. You cannot at the moment store that so we will take that as a feature request, thank you!
- jamesga99Copper ContributorHow can I get Co-pilot to access data repositories that are not Sharepoint based? I have a Knowledge Management repository that I would like to query using Co-pilot as well as my Microsoft based data. If this is not currently available is it on the development path?
- John-aitpCopper ContributorAs Andy points out you can build a Custom Copilot for this. Or you can make those repos visible to Copilot by creating a connector to the Graph API.
- andymartin415Copper ContributorBuild a custom CoPilot via API / Connector
- qobodoBrass ContributorAs inboxes get cluttered, storage is limited and we get more and more emails with big attachements, our coworkers save emails in a network share and delete them from their Outlook. Is Copilot in Outlook still able to find and integrate those emails on the network share?
- Chris_FerraroIron ContributorAre there plans to have a chat specific to Outlook to ask questions about the email or calendar you have open at that time like Word, PPT, Excel, etc.?

Microsoft
Context understanding is one of our top priorities and we are actively working on bringing this capability to Copilot in Outlook soon. Please follow our roadmap for updates: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?rtc=1&filters=Outlook&searchterms=copilot
- KonstantinM195Occasional ReaderIs there a live presentation? I cannot join to anything. Or is it just a chat?

- JackDuMezIron ContributorWhere do Copilot Transcripts and AI Notes now live, and can they be deleted by anyone except the Organizer (if they live in the Organizer's account)?

- DeletedDo you plan to improve the usability and use case of "prepare a meeting" - e.g. that inside an appointment, I can ask Copilot to show me related documents/contacts/teams messages (or even lists them for me) so I can ask questions to prepare myself? And also accessing the results of the meeting / Copilot inside of Teams meeting /"follow a meeting" e.g. inside of Outlook and having a direct chat/Copilot functionality for this inside the Outlook appointment view?
- Zack-ChuaBrass Contributor
Hi Tobias, we are actively working on Prepare for Meetings as a new Copilot feature. With this, Copilot will help summarize related meeting content such as files and emails to help you prepare. Please follow for the roadmap for updates: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?filters=Outlook&searchterms=Prepare%2Cfor%2CMeeting
For recap of a meeting that has happened, we are working on an intelligent recap experience in Outlook that will be available soon (it will be announced on the public roadmap shortly). This will be similar to the intelligent recap experience in Teams. You will also have a link to launch the full recap experience in Teams where you can ask questions about what has transpired if the meeting was recorded on transcribed.
- MichaelEPhoenixBrass ContributorIs there any updates on Copilot being used with shared mailboxes and delegation? Many senior leaders have PA's or similar roles who manage multiple mailboxes, and they find it useful to be able to summarise what is coming up for a senior leader. Thanks! 🙂
- Renu DeviBrass Contributor
Hi Michael, we don't yet support Shared Mailboxes and Delegate support in Copilot but we know this is an important scenario and we are investigating this feature area. Stay tuned to our Roadmap for updates on this area https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?rtc=1&filters=Outlook&searchterms=copilot
- Jennifer_WalkerCopper ContributorEvery month I need to write similar mails. Prompts like "Please copy the content of the last mail to recipient XY and adapt the date." are not working. Does Outlook has access to content of other emails that can be reused for new mails?
- Gabriel_ValdezBronze ContributorThank you for your feedback! We are investigating this, please follow our roadmap for the latest updates - https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?rtc=1&filters=Outlook&searchterms=copilot
- 105000Copper ContributorDo I need to open co-pilot for it to summarize the meetings or I can open co-pilot towards the end of the meeting for it to summarize
- Zack-ChuaBrass Contributor
Hi Ashish, once the meeting is over, the intelligent recap will be available directly in the meeting event in Outlook Web and the New Outlook for Windows. This is something we are actively working on and will be available soon. Please follow the public roadmap for updates on when this feature will be available. Intelligent recap will be announced on the roadmap shortly. https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/roadmap?rtc=1&filters=Outlook&searchterms=copilot
