- NicolleKMCopper ContributorSecurity question regarding the Web content plug-in message: "Copilot MAY share some of your Microsoft 365 enterprise data with plugins you’ve turned on." Does this mean our prompts or enterprise data may be leaving our enterprise? Or may be used to train the web model?

- FrancescaBDOCopper ContributorWhen can we expect Copilot to be available for the semi-annual channel?

- DanNarlochFormer EmployeeThanks for the question. No current plans to bring Copilot to the Semi-Annual channel. To ensure a seamless experience with Copilot's rapidly evolving AI capabilities, updates could be introduced to Monthly Enterprise Channel ahead of the usual timeline. This proactive approach is all about enhancing the quality of Copilot features within Microsoft 365. For consistent quality, these updates are deployed only after a full rollout in Current Channel. Updates deployed to Monthly Enterprise Channel in this manner are documented like any other update in the release notes. Is there a way to control just the transcript through purview compliance content retention feature? I would like to delete it after one day, finding a middle ground between copilot without transcript (that can only be invoked when in meeting, therefore if someone forgets they are done for) and copilot with transcript, that presents a bit of a compliance headache for us (since we do not allow meeting recordings)? Ideally, we could use the copilot with no transcript for longer, ie hide the transcript from user but allow copliot prompts after the meeting ends.

- Chris BardonBrass ContributorCan anyone speak to how the search backing copilot extends to Azure Devops? I've added a connector in search admin to index all devops work items, but when I ask questions about things like open bugs or backlog item status, copilot doesn't appear to be using that information. It can access the connector, but it seems that if a document (like a project status report) references a bug, it will only use that, and not search directly in devops. Is there a way I can train/hint to copilot that certain queries should always look at a specific connector, or otherwise improve the experience interacting with Azure Devops data?

About licensing. For enterprises Is Copilot licensing available only as a addon to Microsoft 365 licensing as it is as Copilto Pro for home users ? Can we expect to see in some near future that Copilot would be a feature of Microsoft 365 E3 license ?

Thanks for participating in today's Copilot for Microsoft 365 AMA: Tech Accelerator edition! For reference, the panel covered this topic at around 16:25.
- Samson_ChanFormer EmployeeAt this time, Copilot licensing is a separate purchase from M365 license.
- Chris BardonBrass ContributorWhen documents are indexed in graph, are they indexed as whole documents, or are they pre-processed as they might be in a prompt flow implementation? I know that RAG scenarios work best with smaller, topic-centric documents, and have already noticed that copilot chat is not able to find answers in large product manuals on sharepoint. Is there something else we should be doing to make sure that this data is properly surfaced?

why is the same prompt in MS Teams "recap the meeting" generating a lot better response when clicked from suggested prompts vs user typing that in? this behavior is very consistent.

- Chris BardonBrass ContributorAs a Teams admin, is there a way that I can set up policy to automatically record and transcribe all meetings? I know you can allow/disallow transcription, but I want to default it to on all the time, so that users don't have to remember to set it when they schedule the meeting, or manually start recording when the meeting starts. I'd much rather have someone have to stop/delete an unwanted recording than forget to start and miss out on capturing important data. It seems like there might be something buried in sensitivity labels, but is there really no top level policy setting for "automatically record and transcribe all meetings"?
- ClausjuhlIron ContributorThere is an option for the organizer. When they create a meeting, they can choose Without transcription from the dropdown in their meeting options. . Copilot will work during the meeting even if nobody has turned on the transcription - This option uses a temporary transcript that is hidden and gets deleted when the meeting ends, so the transcript and Copilot are not available via recap after the meeting. The benefit of this option is that latecomers can still use copilot in the meeting, even if no one has remembered to turn on transcription. The downside is that people might forget to turn on transcription because they see copilot working, and then they miss the chance to access the recap/ transcription and interact with it via copilot after the meeting. You can decide to have this as an option for each relevant meeting for the meeting organizer to set up or you can set it up as a default setting in your meeting policy, meaning that all meetings will start with copilot working without transcription. In our organization, we have chosen not to have this setting as default in our meeting policy, we think that there are more drawbacks to potentially not having the transcripts available after the meeting, what we see is that someone in the meeting with a copilot license will try to interact with copilot and turn on transcription.
