We are excited to announce a Microsoft 365 Insider AMA on Thursday, May 25th at 9:00 AM Pacific time!

Join us as our experts explain how the Microsoft Insider 365 program works, talk about the benefits are of being an Insider, and give you tips about deploying Insider builds. If you're already a Microsoft 365 Insider, this is your opportunity to ask questions about recently released features and provide feedback on your experience.

  I was at the M365 Conference last week in Vegas. Despite it being heavily promoted as being an opportunity to see what's going on with Copilot, it was nothing of the sort - just the same content from Microsoft we've all seen on YouTube. In some ways, that's good; we did at least leave thinking that MSFT are taking a conscious approach to Copilot to really focus on the security of it. There was zero commitment to any timelines, nor any indication of pricing (but, we all know this won't be free for long, if at all!!).

  We recommend you post that request to the OneNote portion of the online feedback portal where others can see & comment on your suggestion. Product teams look at the feedback portal for customer suggestions/feedback.

Why, in 2023, is 64-bit Microsoft 365 not the default for new installations? I work in simulation in which we frequently have very large Excel & Word files. 64-bit Office handles those much better.

  64-bit is the default, unless you’re using a 32-bit version of Windows or the device has less than 4 GB of memory.
