Stefan_Blom Thanks, that worked! It also appears to be permanent.
Older versions of Word did save the view and zoom with each individual document. I believe that Word 2007 is "old enough" for that to work.
As Charles suggested, you may want to use Jay Freedman's add-in for more options.
