Word renders my white images as #fffefd
I have an image with a pure white background (#ffffff), but when I add it to MS word the white background becomes #fffefd. The document itself has #ffffff background. I've also tried setting the image background to transparent but the picture background is still #fffefd. Word build 18429.20158. Windows 11.

If a picture displays abnormally in Word (e.g., opaque background or shifted color), try the following:
1. Check the image format: Use a format that supports transparency (e.g. PNG), avoid JPEG.
2. Edit the image: Use image editing software (e.g. Photoshop) to make sure the background is pure white (RGB 255, 255, 255) and save it as a PNG.
3. Adjust Word settings: Go to File > Options > Advanced and enable “Show Picture Frame” or disable “Hardware Graphics Acceleration”.
4. Update Word: Make sure the software is up to date.
5. Repair Office: Repair the Office installation through the control panel.
