Word printing issue
Look at the area on that page about printing into pre-printed forms. This is, in my opinion, one of the most painstaking tasks you will have. I have done it.
You can use Plain Text Content Controls, set to not allow carriage returns, positioned on the page using a table. Once you have these postitioned as you want them, select the entire document and apply a Group Content Control. Then people will only be able to type in the Content Control.
