Word Performance Noticeably Degraded
The latest C2R update brought Word 9029.2054 to my PC (i7 CPU, 16GB RAM). Since the upgrade, performance sucks when navigating through large documents with CPU usage spiking to 23% and screen freezes...
I compared performance on another PC running 9001.2171 and it was fine, so I downgraded the PC I was having trouble on to that build and the performance issue went away. How odd!
I was wrong. The performance issue didn't go away. It is just better on this version than it was on the next. Does anyone from the Word product group read this forum?
