Word moves file in Recycle bin when saving

Hi, everyone,

Word started today to act strangely. When I modify a document, hit close button and the save dialogue window appear when I hit Save instead of leaving the file in it's original location, Word moves it in in the Recycle bin. What is to be done? Is there an option that I enabled without knowing? Or is a bug in the Word app? Thank you
