Word issue - indenting styles without user input

Question

Hi. We have mutiple O365 users on a single document.

Certain styles (Heading 2, Heading 3, bullets) are being indented by ~1cm without user input.

If the style is modified to remove the indentation, Word will re-insert the indent when the document is next opened.

We've searched online to diagnose this issue to no avail. Are there any settings that we are missing?

Are these numbered styles? In that case, any changes to the left indent must be made in the Multilevel List dialog box, not via the Paragraph settings. See&nbsp;https://shaunakelly.com/word/numbering/numbering20072010.html.
