Word document tab and type sheet
Rkaiser108 Tabbing moves the selection from one Formfield to the next in that document when it is open in Word in Microsoft 365 Apps for enterprise Version 2306 (Build 16259.20182 Click-to-Run) Current Channel.
When you open the document in Word do you see the App Launcher - the nine dots enclosed by a red border at the top left of the following screen shot?
If you do see those dots, it indicates that you are opening the document in the On-line version of Word. It needs to be opened in the desktop application for the FormFields in the document to work as intended.

Rkaiser108 If you mean without the two spaces highlighted in yellow in the following screenshot, it is necessary to remove the protection from the form and then delete those spaces
If you mean spaces such as those highlighted in yellow in this screen shot, they indicate that the data was entered into those FormFields while the document was not protected. They can be deleted with the form protect as they are actually in the FormFields.
