Word doc design when shared on OneDrive

I have opened the same Word document that's saved to OneDrive on two different computers. I am the only user.  But now, the document color is chaged to gray (from a black background). I cannot unshare the document because only I am using it. How to I restore normal color control and stop sharing the document between my different computers? Thanks.
