word compilation

hi,

I am going to compilate in one word doc (office 2016) different parts of several docs.

Is there any way (through colors, fonts, references, etc.) to leave a trace in the final document indicating which was the original document from which the phrases or paragraphs were taken?

Thanks, Juan

You could use different styles in the different documents that otherwise appear the same.

The Importance of Styles in Microsoft Word

You could bookmark the parts you want to import and import them as IncludeText fields which would retain the source information.

You could simply add comments as you import them indicating the source. Those could be hidden/removed later.
