Word: Application not responding

Hi 

I've been having problems with Word 16.16.06 on my Mac. After a few minutes working it stops and the Application is not responding. I am forced to quit and start over. How can I fix this?

    Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software to see if that fixes the problem?

     

    Does this happen to any other Office app?
