Word App on Mac

Hello. PLEASE help with three issues. I've created a trifold brochure form scratch and cannot seem to do three things:

1. Add a second page to the document. If I cut an paste, or simple add an additional text box to create 3 more panels for page two, it will only layer them on top of the page one column. 

2. When adding things to the footer, I can tell that something has been typed because there is something to highlight, however, it is white so you cannot actually see it. How do I make the text a color?

3. I want to insert a frame/border around the entire content of one of the panes and will only create separate panels for each section. PLEASE HELP!!!
