Word 365 Bibliography
Hello
I am trying to find out how to (automatically) parse my biblio into sections - e.g., Books, Journal Articles, etc. The default of my package is to just create one big list, even though, when entering the source, it asks you for type.
Here's an example:
Biblio
Books:
Book1 ..............
Book2 .............
Book3.............
etc. the above listed in alphabetical order
Journal Articles:
Article1 .................
Article2 ................
etc. the above listed alphabetically
And so forth for other source types.
Thank you.

As far as I know, there is no way to make this automatic in Word.
Maybe you can do it with a third-party citations & bibliography function.

I'm afraid you are right. I've just spent 1+hours doing it manually. I've read about EndNote, but if I'd known at the start I would have used something like MyBib.
I do find this a bit strange as, when entering each source, WORD asks you for 'type' in the 1st drop down box. So, Word has the info, but does not choose to use it for this purpose.
Many thanks for your response.
