WORD 2024 printing error

My Acrobat copy has expired, Adobe are charging a ridiculous price for a new subscription so I got an alternative program which should be enough for my limited use.

I have a 48 page file to print so converted the PDF to a WORD file.  It displays properly in WORD - full page and double sided but when I print in WORD, it prints a small cropped portion of the page and single sided.

Any suggestions?

The single-sided has to do with your printer settings. Word does not display double-sided. It may display side-by-side.

This is a converted file. Conversions from any other program are imperfect, often resulting in formatting anomalies.

Get the free Acrobat Reader and print from there.

  • Your document looking correct on screen does not confirm that the selected printer is receiving the same paper size, scaling and duplex settings. The expired Acrobat subscription should not be assumed to explain these Word printing symptoms. In Word, open File and Print, select the actual printer, and check the preview for the intended paper size and orientation. Confirm one page per sheet and review the printer's own properties for paper size and scaling as well. Then choose Print on Both Sides if the printer supports automatic duplexing; otherwise use Word's manual duplex option and follow its reloading instructions. Print only two representative pages while testing instead of repeating the entire 48-page job. If the preview itself is already reduced or cropped, investigate the PDF-to-Word conversion and page setup first. If preview is correct but paper output is wrong, troubleshoot the selected printer configuration.
