Word 2021 crashes when you try and use table properties
Hey, I faced the same issue and was so agitated by it. This is what I tried.
File ---> Account ---> Update Options (Dropdown next to Office Updates) ---> Update Now
It took a while to search and update. Make sure all open files are saved as it asks to close them all. After the update, the issue has been resolved for me. Table properties and more colours are both working fine now.

I am facing the same problem. I recently upgraded to Windows 11 and using Office 365. There are many issues/ glitches which i am suddenly facing:
1. Word crashing as soon as Table Properties are opened.
2. Outlook indexing (search) not working properly
etc.
Please let me know in case you find a solution to the same.
I had this problem on a PC which had the 32-bit version of Office installed. I uninstalled that, replaced it with the 64-bit version of Office, and this made things work for me.

Thanks for your response. I am already at 64 Bit configuration. However, as my work was suffering and could not afford to lose time, I rolled back to Windows 10. Now atleast I am at peace for now 🙂

Unfortunately we're already using Windows 10 so it might be back to Office 2019 for us if 32 bit doesn't work :-(.
- Thanks for this, unfortunately I neglected to state in my previous post that we're already deploying the 64 bit version of Office 2021. I haven't tried the 32 bit version but, strangely, I expect my situation will be the opposite to yours and it will work fine!

There have been several issues with the 32 bit version of Office lately.
- Microsoft really need to get their "Office uninstall support tool" to work properly so anyone can totally remove whatever remnants of Office remain so that a fresh install will work properly.
