Word 2003 applying sp3 patch

Can please help me?  I downloaded sp3 for Word 2003 but everytime I click "extract", it asks if I want to replace what I've already downloaded.  I can't get past this to apply the patch.  I'm working on Windows 10 on a virtual machine (Parallels).  Thank you.
