What is the right way to convert Word to PDF in bulk on a PC or Mac?

For a task involving multiple files, I prefer to use a batch converter rather than saving each Word file as a PDF manually.

Open the app, choose Word to PDF, add all of the DOC/DOCX files, select an output folder, and click Convert. This is also easier to manage than a script if you are not comfortable with PowerShell or Automator. You can keep the original Word files in one folder and send all converted PDFs to another folder, which makes checking the results much simpler.

I would still test a few representative files first, particularly ones with complex tables, custom fonts, images, or section breaks. Once those files look correct, run the rest of the batch.
