Underline in correct place for handwriting
Is there a way to move up the underline in Microsoft word to reflect where it would be in handwriting? Please see picture.

Hi benjmt
This is as close as it gets:
It works for a single character only, though, as it combines an underlines space, the character, and then an underlined space. If I typed more g's, then again only the spaces would be underlined, as Word underlines the entire character, unfortunately. Best to draw the line, as suggested before. Or use a different tool/programme. Sorry.
benjmt You cannot adjust the position of the underline in Word, but you can insert a line in the desired position. (Tip: hold down the Shift key while drawing the line to force it to be horizontal)
