Two graphics in header: one aligned to left margin; the other aligned to right margin

Thank you for the ideas, Charles. Alignment tabs are the type of thing I was looking for. I'll first check if they are available on the Mac.
I am pretty sure they are not available on the Mac, but, like Content Controls, they apparently work on the Mac if already in a document.
Here is a free Add-In on my site: AlignmentTabs as AutoText Add-In Template
It should allow you to insert them on the Mac.

- Thanks again, Charles. I ended up designing a single image that combined both graphics. It required some trial and error that wouldn't have been necessary if I had been able to position the graphics independently in Word. I am a little surprised at Word's lack of sophistication in this regard, though I spend my time with Photoshop and Premiere so my expectations are probably a little too high.
