those annoying ~$ files
My Word (using Mac Sonoma) leaves behind these ~$ files. They are supposed to be temporary, but they look like files I was last dealing with months ago. They are NOT temporary. I wanted to clean them...
Occasionally, temporary files may be left behind. When it happens, the cause is normally that Word or the computer stopped responding. It is safe to delete them, but a restart of your computer may be required.
