The new Office 2021 visual update has stuttering and choppy animations.
The new Office 2021 visual update has stuttering and choppy animations especially the ribbon menus. It's like i don't have video driver installed or playing on some heavy game on low fps. I have no problems with Windows 11 animations only with Office 2021. Tried on Windows 10 too with the same result.

Disable hardware graphics acceleration and animation effects in the Display section of Word's File→Options→Advanced, then update your graphics card driver.
