Text boxes
Hello, I am fairly new at using Word 2013 on a regular basis. Why is the text in my text boxes not staying at the correct line spacing. They were fine when I created them but when I open the Word doc...
You can set a fixed value for Line Spacing to prevent changes. Use the "Exactly" setting in the Paragraph dialog box and specify a value in points. Some trial and error may be required to find the appropriate value.
As Doug says, though, usually it is better to avoid text boxes unless you really need them. Using text boxes only makes the document more complex and therefore increases the risk of corruption.
