Yes, it is possible.
Before going to a vba (macro) solution, I suggest you look into AutoText and the Building Blocks Gallery Content Control.
You could even save the BBG Content Control, itself, as an AutoText entry so you could reinsert it at will.
You would save these AutoText entries in your template, not in the Normal.dotm template.
