Table of Content does not match page numbers
Hi, I am writing in a word template of my school, they requested me that I add an attachment in my document. That attachment has page numbers in it. So now all the pages after the attachment foll...
I am unsure what is happening.
Is the page that should be numbered 28 now numbered 40?
Is the page that should be numbered 40 now numbered 28?
At the start of each section, you can restart page numbering or continue from previous using the Format Page Numbers dialog.
- Go through your document from the beginning.
- Stop on any page where the page numbering is off. (The first page where it is off.)
- Go to the Format Page Numbers dialog and fix it. If it is restarting and you do not want it to, tell it to continue. If it needs to have a different number start there, type that number.
- Continue doing 2-3 until the end of the document.
