Deathbird What is the purpose of the Style Separators?
When the Save as PDF option is used in Word, a properly constructed Table of Contents in the Word document will be functional in the resulting PDF.
If you upload a copy of the document, we will investigate any issues that you have.
- DeathbirdSep 01, 2023Copper ContributorDoug_Robbins_Word_MVP - I use them as otherwise in the figure or legend list I would get the whole legend, albeit I just need the short name at the start.
As I wrote as a response to Stefan_Blom, it seems the issue comes from having the legend inside a table. I was able to solve the issue by non-selecting "Export Document Properties" when exporting as PDF - although I'm not sure if that causes other issues...- Sep 01, 2023
Deathbird Re the Style Separators, make sure that under File>Options>Display>Printing options, you do NOT have the box checked for "Print hidden text".
