hassuunna To layout a document such as a CV, the best option is usually to use a table.

Unfortunately, this is incorrect. The ATS software that is used to scan resumes intelligently to sort out those that don't have the right keywords, etc do not recognize tables well at all. It'd be nice, but yeah.. I had some tables in my resume and went to a resume workshop where they actually ran it through their genuine ATS system and it was a bad thing to have on the resume.
