Search/Replace

I want to find any character + paragraph symbol and replace with same character + a space. I can't seem to find a command for this. My large document is riddled with lime breaks between words, all different. I tried searching for line breaks proceeded by any letter and replace by the same wild card letter + space but I lose the letter. Can this be done?
