Scan QR Data Directly into Word on Tablet

I am looking for a way to utilize my tablets camera to scan QR Code Data directly into a word document that is open on the same tablet.  I have only found a way to do this is to open a second app that can scan the QR code data from which I copy the data from the app and paste it into the word document.  Is there a much simpler way to accomplish this without having to utilize a secondary app?
