Save as PDF adds ArialMT font to resulting PDF
There are no Arial fonts in my word document. None to find and none to remove. However, when I save to PDF the resulting PDF has a (NON-EMBEDED) font I did not want in the PDF.

I was able to print to PDF and get rid of the non-embeded font but I cannot for the life of me figure out to print to PDF and get a 6 x 9 size PDF document out of it. This is so horrible many publishers require a PDF with embeded fonts. Does anyone know what I can do?
- kibbekCopper ContributorHaving the same challenge. I work on a mac. it seems to have something to do with lists. I rebuilt my document and added elements one by one and ran pdfs to see where the arial/mt was being introduced and its in the use of lists. You can customize some font use in the lists options but not punctuation after numbers etc. Im going to keep looking but maybe look at your doc and see if removing any numbered or bulleted list will result in a pdf with no use of arial/mt.
