Re: Word crashes when opening document
Same behavior on my side! I'm using Microsoft 365 (Version 18.2311.1071.0). When I double click on any Word document from any folder on my PC the Word app splash screen appears and stay there forever. However, there is no issue if I'm using Word Online or Teams app to open a Word document.

How about if you start the Word desktop application and then use File>Open to open a document?
Hello, I had problems also just to open Word. I opened the app in safe mode and disable all the Add-ins. I was able to determine which Add-ins was causing me problems. Word works fine now.

For me, I'm not able to open Word in safe mode but while selecting Options to check for add-ins, it suddenly crashes. Performed O365 apps suite repair, reinstallation etc. Since not able to enter Add-ins section, cannot disable add-ins as well. Once we got an error while opening Word file as: Word is running into problems with the "npdfcofficeaddin.npdfoffice.1" add-in. If this keeps happening, disable this add-in and check for available updates.
Even after removing Adobe application fully and deleted Adobe folders as well, still word is getting crashed when clicking on Options.
Any other TS available please?
