Product deactivated on November 26?

Question

Whenever I open Word in Microsoft 365, I receive the warning:

"PRODUCT DEACTIVATED On Sunday, November 26, 2023k most features of Word will be disabled."

Then I'm offered a button entitle Reactivate.

Why would Word be doing this? Is it a legit operation, or did someone hack into either Word or my PC and set a trap for me?

Which Office product do you have? A license such as Office 2021 Home &amp; Business? Or a subscription version such as Microsoft 365 Family or Microsoft 365 Apps for business?

I have a subscription the Microsoft 365, 'Personal' or 'Home' version.

Thanks, Stefan.&nbsp;I checked the status of my Microsoft 365 at Dell (where I bought it) and they say it will automatically renew on January 22 of 2024.&nbsp;So it's still a mystery why I keep getting this warning about self-immolation on Jan 22.&nbsp;-Peyton&nbsp;P.S. Why am I seeing&nbsp;@Stefan Blom at the bottom of? Am I replying to this in the incorrect way&nbsp;Stefan_Blom&nbsp;

I take it Dell preinstalled Office for you when you purchased the computer? In that case, you will have to check with them to find out why the product already appears to be unlicensed.&nbsp;
