problem with table of figures
Hello, I've been having problems with creating table of figures for some reason the figures are much more that they need to be and some of them are multiplied. I selected the cross reference but...

Multiple references in cross-reference dialog?
This indicates that you likely have multiple captions for the same figure. Sometimes this happens when you move the figure and it is actually on top of the caption. These will usually have different numbers.
You can find these by using Selection > Selection Pane from the home tab. Select and delete the excess captions.
You should be using References > Table of Figures for making your Table of Figures, not Cross-Reference.
