Paste shortcut document or folder with full target file path not the drive letter in file explorer

Hello peeps,

Hoping someone might be able to shed some light on this one as it's driving me crazy (as well as being really time consuming!).

When I paste a shortcut (document or folder) in another file explorer location, the shortcut target does not paste the full file path, but rather the letter to which the drive is mapped to.  This is not helpful for other users as they may not necessarily have the drive mapped to the same letter.

Rather than keep amending the Properties Target, is there a way to shortcut with the full file path?
