Page numbering starting at 2
Why does Word sometimes start numbering page numbers at 2 rather than 1. Tried everything to remedy this problem. Tried restart numbering and even deleting and re-adding the footer and it still doesn't work. Doesn't make sense that it won't follow orders. It only does this sometimes.

Does it ever happen with new documents started from the blank document template?
