Ordering IEEE in-line citations
I am working on a paper and I have some citations that I had previously added. I wanted to add some new in-line citations and this has caused the numbers to no longer be in numerical order. Example...
Try press CTRL+a and then the F9 key to update the fields in the document and see if that sorts out the numbering.
Thanks Doug - This worked for me - It seems that for IEEE in-line citations in Word 365 all in line references show as [1] until, as you have said, the reference fields in the document are updated (press CTRL+a and then the F9 key and select 'update entire table' ) - This updates the [1] references to the correct number for the citation - Very frustrating
