Need Help Integrating Timestamps into Automatic Numbering System for Critique Video Script
S-Mania The file for which you provided the link already appears to have each paragraph numbered Sin 1, Sin 2, Sin 3, followed by the timestamp. Is that numbering something that you added manually, but which you want to do without having to type the Sin followed by the number. From where would the information for the timestamp come?
While the Sin # can be automated, I believe that the user is going to need to enter the data for the timestamp.

Doug_Robbins_Word_MVP Yes, like I mentioned, I added those myself and it doesn't have the automatic numbering system. Yes, I want to have the "Sin #:" (# meaning whatever number follows "Sin") automated, but I'm trying to figure out where to best add the timestamp in brackets for each sin. I clearly can't add it like I have already before since the automated numbering system doesn't allow me to enter text directly next to it, even though it looks cleaner that way. Meaning I can't have the brackets pop up automatically with the automated "Sin:" part as it does not allow me to add the specific timestamps or any text inside it. I'd have to add it next to the text for the sin/critique (since it automatically creates a gap between the auto-numbering system and the text the user types), which looks off and not as streamlined. I've attached an example document of what I mean by that.
Unless you know of an easier way to do it? That's basically what I'm trying to figure out and not the numbering system itself. I may be thinking about this too hard.
Hope that makes more sense.

S-Mania In the document that I have uploaded, I have defined a new style name Sin to which I have assigned the numbering and which is defined so that it is followed by another paragraph the style of which is also Sin so that each time you press Enter another paragraph with the next Sin #: followed by a tab space will be added, ready for you to insert the time stamp and the text

Doug_Robbins_Word_MVP Does that numbering system also work if I need to split a number up into multiple parts (aka: 5a, 5b, 5c etc) before continuing (eg: 3, 4, 5a, 5b, 5c, 6, 7 etc)? Or would I have to write those in manually?
