Modern Comments Don't Show
I may be in the minority of people who like the modern comments. As a lawyer who is using MS Teams to get multiple contributors to give feedback on documents I think the modern comments are clearer ...
Modern comments in Word are tied to your Microsoft 365 account settings and update rollout, not just the Word version.
Sign in with the same account on your workA laptop, ensure Office updates are set to “Current Channel,” and install all updates , then restart Word.A
