Microsoft Word 16.17 for Mac DOES NOT RESPOND

Please help
I've been struggling the whole morning to simply open Microsoft Word. This has happened before to me and on Powerpoint as well. It takes hours at times.

Hey, you could try an online office repair.
This will fix any errors, or file corruptions causing this issue.
