Macro sort

I have a 53 page A4 document with a 3 column table of data. I have recorded macos to sort on columns 1 and 3 of my data, and can easilt do this, but I'd rather the sort macros could be run from the heads of columns 1 and 3 respectively. How do I link the macro to them?
