Locking floating text box locations in word
Hello I have floating text boxes in a word document. I want to lock/anchor the test boxes so they do not move at all. I still want to be able to edit the text in the boxes. I have the latest version...
I feel your pain. It is appalling that this functionality is not available. Unfortunately, MS Word was never created to be able to create professional reports and large documents. It was designed to make the printer produce a layout, not to facilitate the work of authors & typists. The only real solution is for MS to stop feature creeping and actually do some proper analysis of how people work, write good specs, and re-engineer, for example, MS Word.
